What to do when someone dies
When a death occurs, one of the first things to do is to find out if your loved one had discussed or planned pre-existing funeral, burial or cremation arrangements e.g. documented with their will.
Next, it’s likely you will speak to a funeral director about your loved one’s preferences as they can help facilitate the service, funeral and cremation of your loved one in partnership with our Canberra Memorial Parks team or other cemetery and cremation providers. They also provide the necessary documentation that is needed to carry out the arrangements.
