About us

Our team is committed to meeting the requirements of families, arranging burials and placing ashes, as well as assisting families and visitors with an interest in the cemeteries. Staff are available to conduct tours of the grounds at Woden, Gungahlin and Hall cemeteries and assist you with finding a beautiful resting place.

Canberra Memorial Parks are administered by the Cemeteries and Crematoria Authority, which reports to the ACT Government through the Minister for Transport and City Services.

About Canberra Memorial Parks

Our cemeteries in the ACT are a point of pride for Canberra Memorial Parks. We believe cemeteries are a place where family and friends can remember, reflect and celebrate the life of a loved one.

At Canberra Memorial Parks, you can erect a memorial to honour and remember someone close to you. Just as it eases the grieving process, a memorial forms a link between the past, present and future to be shared with family and friends.

All cemeteries are open every day from 8 am until sunset, with adequate seating and shady areas.

Public bus stops are located close to the Gungahlin and Woden Cemeteries. For more information about buses visit Transport Canberra or call 13 17 10.
